Is it possible to know the work history of the caretakers?

There are two ways to check the employment history of caretakers.

    2. You can enquire about your specific caretaker through an employment agency.

Can an unemployed person hire a maid?

You can still hire a maid in Singapore in spite of being unemployed if you have a fixed deposit of at least SG$50,000 in your bank account before you initiate the work permit application.

How long does it take for the Work Permit to get approved?
